Schedule Your NodeSquirrel Backups

Automating your NodeSquirrel backups allows you to get the most out of NodeSquirrel. Once scheduled backups are setup you really can forget about them - your site will send them regularly and we'll keep them safe and sound in the cloud!

Before You Schedule

  • Make sure you can backup to NodeSquirrel. If that isn't working or you're not sure how, check out How to Get Started or contact us for help.
  • Make sure that Cron is running on your site. You can check this at Administration » Configuration » System » Cron (admin/config/system/cron) in Drupal 7 or Home » Administer » Reports » Status (admin/reports/status) in Drupal 6. If it hasn't run recently, review https://drupal.org/cron and make sure to set it up. Cron is an important part of a healthy Drupal site!
